At Benton Conservation District we want to benefit our wildlife by creating and implementing wildlife habitat plantings. We'd like to accomplish this by offering our services to our farmers, landowners, and land managers

Overview

Description:

BCD works with landowners to establish native grasses on circle corners. By establishing cover on circle corners wildlife habitat is enhanced, wind erosion is reduced, and pesticide applications for weed control are also minimized. Contact us to learn more!

At your invitation, one of our conservation professionals will visit your site and work with you to develop a plan to enhance wildlife habitat. We may also have financial assistance available to help fund the project. Examples of habitat enhancements include:

- Shrub Strips
- Pollinator Plantings
