Overview

Description:

The Grant County Conservation District is a non-regulatory, regional partner working to protect ground and surface water quality and quantity.

We assist by:
- Providing technical and cost-share assistance for projects;
- Developing natural resource and nutrient management plans;
- Assisting agencies on complaints or fines with operators; and
- Coordinating and collaborating with agencies and other stakeholders; etc.

Examples of projects that we assist and cost-share with:
- Irrigation Water Management;
- Livestock management;
- Groundwater management;
- Shoreline stabilization;
- Storm-water runoff, etc.
