Overview

Description:

Private landowners can work with the partnership of numerous groups who are conserving the oak woodlands in Oregon through plant health and productivity.

High priority if landowner has an existing Forest/Woodland Management Plan or other type of stand inventory/analysis and needs treatment.

Conservation Practices Offered:
-Brush Management
-Forest Stand Improvement
-Herbaceous Weed Control
-Woody Residue Treatment
-Prescribed Burning
-Tree/Shrub Pruning

Eligibility:

Any of the following qualifies:
1. The application is within the boundary of the CIS project area, has an existing Forest/Woodland Management Plan or other type of stand inventory/analysis and needs treatment.
2. The application is within the boundary of the CIS project area, does not have current forest/woodland stand inventory/analysis, and prescriptions.
3. The application is not located within the boundary of the CIS project area or does not need treatment.
