Description:

The SWCD is available to help Hood River county residents become better stewards of their land. The SWCD works on a voluntary, non-regulatory basis and provides technical assistance free of charge. Contact us by phone, email, or stop by the office. We can also meet you at your property for a site visit to discuss natural resource concerns or potential projects on you land. The SWCD can assist you with a variety of topics, including: irrigation water management and system upgrades, mud and manure management, livestock and pasture management, stream protection, fish passage, noxious weed abatement, native plants, partner resources and more.
