Tips on how to keep your property prepared for fire.
Overview
Description:
As wildfires have become more and more common in our region, Snohomish Conservation District has partnered with the Washington State University Snohomish County Extension and the Department of Natural Resources to help you and your neighbors become a “Firewise Community.”
This program encourages local solutions for wildfire safety by involving homeowners, community leaders, planners, developers, firefighters, and others in proactively protecting people and property from the risk of a wildfire. The program teaches people how to adapt to living with wildfire and encourages neighbors to work together and take action now to prevent losses in the future.
See tips on the website for Firewise home measures.
