Overview

Description:

Community Watershed Stewardship Program mini-grants provide gift certificates for native plants to community groups or individuals that need seed money to help start or maintain projects beneficial to the local watershed. The limit is one Mini-Grant per group per calendar year. These stewardship projects must bring together volunteers for an overall goal of enhancing water quality in Portland’s watersheds.

Eligibility:

Projects must meet these criteria:

Be volunteer oriented
Use plantings native to the Willamette Valley
Provide community benefit
Have high visibility
Projects that take the place of required mitigation or penalty payments are not eligible for funding

Financial benefit: 

Maximum is $500.
