Description:

Do you own forested property in Snohomish County or on Camano Island? Whether you own a few acres of woods or a larger forest tract, there are a variety of services available to help you get the most out of your land. Whether you’re interested in preservation and aesthetics, periodic timber harvest for income, or anything in between, we have the resources to help you achieve your goals.

Our foresters offer personalized site visits where they visit your forest and answer your management questions. They can also answer questions over the phone. Click on the “request assistance” button below to get in touch.

We can provide guidance, resources and best-management practices to you based on your location. We can also assist you in finding the answers to a wide variety of forestry questions you may have, including:
- The health of your forest acreage
- How to best manage your timber for current or future harvests
- Vegetation management
- Wildlife management in your forest
- Managing wildfire risk in your forest

Eligibility:

Must own forestland on Camano Island or in Snohomish County

Click the "Request Assistance" link on the district's website to begin the process by filling out an intake form. This helps Snohomish Conservation District know about your needs, and prepares the planner that will reach out to you. This also ensures that all who reach out for assistance are being helped on a first-come, first-served basis.
