Overview

Description:

The Forest Management Planning CIS is an opportunity to write forest management plans and develop shelf-ready projects to then create CISs on, based on common resource concerns and prioritized areas. By having identified landowners, the Natural Resources Conservation Service will be in a better position to collaborate with other agencies and leverage other resources as they become available. This type of planning strategy will position western Oregon for stronger national incentive programs and position forest landowners in a better position for more streamlined conservation.
