Description:

Okanogan CD can provide interested landowners free technical assistance and cost-share for eligible projects to support a wide array of conservation practices meant to improve or maintain forest health, which also includes projects on shrubsteppe. This includes, but is not limited to:
-Forest stand improvements to support timber productivity, diversity, and wildlife habitat
- Forest pest and pathogen management
- Invasive species management
- Post-fire replanting and reforestation
- Defensible space for structures and property from wildfire

Okanogan CD staff are here to help you make the best management decisions for your forested and other lands to meet your conservation goals.
