Overview
Description:
The Washington Coordinated Resource Management Program provides support for local landowners and residents to resolve land use and natural resources issues. The program is voluntary, locally led, and landowner-initiated. The two aims of the program are: to develop compatible use of natural resources in Washington State, such as agriculture and wildlife habitat; and to enhance land and water resources. The program helps local landowners and groups identify funding opportunities, develop and implement a collaborative process for resolving issues, identify stakeholders and partners, and troubleshoot particular problem areas.
Coordinated Resource Management is defined by four key characteristics: voluntary, locally-led, landowner-initiated, and inclusive.
