Description:
A voluntary, non-competitive, program for agricultural landowners. Receive incentive payments for installing specific conservation practices along waterways. Through CREP, farmers and ranches can receive annual rental payments and cost-share assistance to establish long-term, resource conserving covers on eligible land. Eligibility:
10-15 year contract for streamside habitat.
You must have owned and/or operated your land for at least 12 months
before enrollment.
Property must border eligible stream segments.
Financial benefit:
