Overview

Description:

The Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board (OWEB) Small Grant Program provides up to $15,000 in Oregon Lottery funds for individual projects that help restore watershed elements such as creeks, rivers or wetlands Landowners looking for financial help for the following types of projects should consider applying for a grant tailored for these and similar projects:
- Prevent erosion along streams
- Create bioswales or native plant buffers along streambanks
- Increase irrigation efficiency
- Upgrade bridges or culverts that will improve fish access

Eligibility:

Priorities for project funding include actions that improve fish passage, instream conditions, streambank and wetland vegetation, and water quality and water quantity. In addition, projects that reduce impacts of roads and other impervious surfaces are priorities for funding consideration

Financial benefit: 

Up to $15,000 in Oregon Lottery funds
